One of MTV’s biggest initiatives in the last decade is “Overdrive,” a broadband channel featuring show clips and other content not available on broadcast. Microsoft advised MTV to have Schematic help create a new user experience for the property on the MCE platform. We translated a very rich web application with both mouse navigation and textual input to the MCE platform—a 10-foot experience with ITV navigation. Through a remote control, users can now explore thousands of music videos and MTV-exclusive content at the touch of a button.
